1. Who we are
This website and the services it describes belong to VOGLER, Sociedad por Acciones Simplificada de Capital Variable (VOGLER, S.A.S. de C.V.), based in San Salvador, El Salvador. You can reach us at hola@vogler.lat or +503 6680 7523.
2. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising tools, has no forms, and the server keeps no log of visits. Fonts and images are served from our own server, with no calls to third parties.
3. When you write to us
If you write to us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone, we receive what you send: your name, your number or email address, and the content of your message. We use it only to reply and, if you ask, to prepare an audit or a proposal. We don't use it to send you advertising you didn't ask for, and we never sell or lend it to anyone.
4. Guests of the hotels that hire us
When a hotel hires our service, we reply on its behalf to messages from its guests and customers on WhatsApp, Instagram, its website and its email. In that case the hotel is the data controller, and we process the data on its behalf and following its instructions.
The data that goes through the system is what the guest shares: name, phone number or username, email, message content, dates of stay and what they request.
We use it only to:
- reply to inquiries with the information the hotel has confirmed to us;
- follow up, with two messages at most, with guests who asked but didn't book;
- offer the hotel's add-ons before arrival and tell the front desk what the guest requests;
- ask for a review after check-out;
- prepare a monthly report for the hotel with totals only, without data about individuals.
What we don't do with that data. We don't sell it. We don't use it for our own marketing. We don't share it between hotels. We don't use it to train artificial intelligence models.
On WhatsApp we only message people who wrote to the hotel first or agreed to receive its messages. If a guest replies "STOP", the system stops messaging them.
5. Who we work with
To provide the service we use these providers. Each one receives only what it needs for its part:
- Meta Platforms: the WhatsApp Business Platform, which carries WhatsApp and Instagram messages.
- YCloud: the provider that connects the hotel's WhatsApp number to our system.
- Anthropic: the artificial intelligence model (Claude) that drafts the replies. Under its commercial terms, it does not use this data to train its models.
- Hetzner Online: the servers our system runs on, located in Germany.
- Google: email.
Some of these providers are outside El Salvador, so data may travel to other countries, always for the purposes in this policy.
6. How long we keep data
- Guest conversations, for as long as the contract with the hotel lasts. When it ends, we delete them within 30 days, or hand them over to the hotel if it asks.
- Messages you send to us, while we are in conversation and for up to two years after the last contact.
- Monthly reports, which contain no data about individuals, for as long as the hotel wants.
7. Security
Connections are encrypted, only the people who need it for their work have access to the systems, and each hotel's data is kept separate from the others. No system is invulnerable: if there is ever an incident that affects your data, we will tell you.
8. Your rights
At any time you can ask us to tell you what data of yours we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Write to hola@vogler.lat. We reply within 15 days at most.
If you are a guest of a hotel that works with us, you can contact the hotel or us directly. We will let the hotel know.
9. How to ask for your data to be deleted
Send an email to hola@vogler.lat, or a WhatsApp message to +503 6680 7523, with the subject "Delete my data". Include the phone number, username or email you wrote from and, if you know it, the name of the hotel.
We delete your data from our systems within 30 days at most and confirm through the same channel when it's done. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as an invoice.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we publish the new version here with its date. If the change is significant and we have a way to reach you, we will let you know.
